The Landscape Plan

It’s all about how you look in the beginning. Coming from a background as a chef, if you weren’t prepped, cleaned and organised well before service, then you can already predict it’s not going to be pretty, but a fight!

A major landscape project requires the same preparation. Every millimetre in your space has to be accounted for in the landscape design plan. This is to minimise extra costs from coming up due to not be accounted for originally, and also to prevent mishaps once construction begins. With detailed planning from the beginning, any surprises that do pop up along the way (every work site has them, just watch the Block!), you’re that organised it can be dealt with immediately so there is minimal interference and price changes, ultimately, keeping stress levels down for all parties involved… and health is number one right?

It’s like a recipe, every ingredient and method needs to be perfectly measured out, prepared and methodised to gain that amazing end result. And boy does an immaculately finished landscape project taste sweet.

Our plans in life get laughed at from above, as the proverb says… however, a well-executed project would not be that without careful initial planning. And when a curve ball is thrown, we’ll be ready and prepared to bat!
